Most people know Jason Schwartzman from famous Wes Anderson films, but he’s also a talented musician in his spare time. Though it was released over 3 years ago, ‘Davy’ has tracks that pair perfectly with your summer walks down to weekend farmer’s markets.
Passion Pit – Gossamer
This latest release by upcoming electropop band Passion Pit has got the tracks to keep your feet moving this summer. ‘Gossamer’ proves to be a lot of fun and should keep your spirits high this season.
Childish Gambino – Camp
The latest album from this all-around talented individual is a mixture of hard hip-hop and upbeat indie tunes. This combination of styles makes ‘Camp’ a go-to album for these summer months.
Hot Chip – In Our Heads
‘In Our Heads’ is the latest album from veteran electronic group Hot Chip. This album has a combination of gripping vocals and soothing beats to put you in a trance this season.
Future Cop – Adventures of Starpony
Future Cop is known for their groovy electropop that gets your feet moving. There’s no doubt that ‘Adventures of Starpony’ should be in your summer party mix.
Miami Horror – Illumination
No one knows summer music better than electropop group from the golden continent of Australia. ‘Illumination’ features their hit single ‘Holiday’ that is sure to accompany you on your weekend getaways.
Local Natives – Gorilla Manor
‘Gorilla Manor’ by Local Natives is an indie classic. It features a mixture of soft and fast-paced guitar riffs paired with the vocals of Taylor Rice that make it a repeat listen for the summer.
Los Campesinos! – Hello Sadness
If you’ve never heard of Los Campesinos before then you’re in for a fun surprise. It’s a bit of an irony that most of the songs on ‘Hello Sadness will make you quite cheerful. Put it on your playlist this summer and see for yourself.
Dr. Dog – Shame, Shame
Unusual name but unforgettable music. ‘Shame, Shame’ by Dr. Dog has hints of southern hospitality in their folk-indie tunes that are great for days off and Sunday drives.

You may have never heard of him before, but King Fantastic has been in the rap game for a while. In ‘Finger Snaps and Gun Clap’s he spits out rhymes that will make heads turn driving downtown this summer.
